Curtiss-Wright Sensors Actuation division has a location in Chanhassen, Minnesota, which houses expertise in design and manufacturing of electric actuators under the Exlar product brand name. Originally founded in 1986, the CW Chanhassen site serves customers globally in Industrial Automation, Oil and Gas, and Defense markets. Recently site growth has been fueled by Defense programs moving to production, such as IFPC Inc 2 launcher. Actuation products manufactured in Chanhassen, MN continue to be selected for emerging programs such as CAML, XM30, & classified UUV. Combining these recent successes with over 15 years of positive contributions on the Ford Class & Virginia Class, further evidence Curtiss-Wright's commitment in building the industrial base to provide solutions supporting homeland defense
The site currently employees ~120 people across manufacturing, design, and sales, with continued growth projections of ~10% YoY of both employees and revenues.
