RPSi has developed novel, hardware-based power controls for inverters that greatly simplify microgrid operation and maintenance requirements. RPSi's inverters allow networked microgrids to self-balance, load share, and manage power surges, all with component-agnostic, cyber-security advantages. RPSi has demonstrated the capabilities of its technology in laboratory environments at low power levels using 5-kilowatt, paralleled inverters and is ready to apply these results to develop and demonstrate a higher power (15-kilowatt) version of its inverter for commercial applications.
